Benefits of Movement

Fitness Fun Made Simple!

The benefit of a Zumba class can be really amazing for your body.  Have you ever noticed how fit dancers are?  The dance world is a fitness in itself and millions of people worldwide take advantage of the benefits of dance each week.

In a Zumba class (and I am speaking from how I teach) the music will vary from class to class.  Potentially on a Tuesday you will be doing salsa, Bollywood, swing and then on Wednesday you are in full reggaetone, cumbia, calypso to a Thursday doing toning with bachata, samba, electro-dance….. who knows what the mix could be AND it is all fun!

Often times we reach the end of the class and everyone looks at each other like “did an hour seriously just pass by??” …as sweat is pouring off us and everyone is smiling from ear to ear!

Music always allows all the billions of thoughts that pass through our brains to slow down and listen to something different, even if for an hour.  With the music taking care of all your thoughts….your body is free to move to the beat.  Often, we have jobs where we sit for long periods of time or jobs that can be quite taxing in lifting or walking long distances.  Whichever style job you have, your body needs to move freely.  You will find after taking a class and losing yourself in the music AND allowing your body to move freely, all your energy shifts and you will left with a sense of happy endorphins coursing through your veins!  What a cool experience!

What could your day or evening look like if you could reap all the benefits from a Zumba class?

Come find out for yourself!
