Do You Need Stress Relief?

Life is not easy all the time and being human, we all deal with a certain amount of stress. It is just a fact of life.

Stress is something that will diminish your energy, cause anxiety through your body, leave you feeling like you either need to run away or stand up and fight.

It really does affect us all.

So what’s the solution?

I can only speak from what I know.  What I know if that I spent MANY years being a prisoner of my stress.  It would build up in my body until I felt paralyzed and couldn’t think of what a possible “next step” could even be!

One day while feeling super bummed out and wanting to hide, I heard a fun song on the radio that I knew. I could feel the corners of my mouth turning up. Soon I realized I was singing along.  By the end of the song I was up and moving around cleaning up while doing a little dance.

I felt great. Like the cement blocks on my shoulders were starting to crumble.

I started to do this more often when feeling super stressed out.

It wasn’t until years later that I discovered Zumba…and then really…like no kidding…I DANCE OUT ALL MY STRESS every week and feel amazing…even to this day!!!

Zumba became my full-time stress reliever.

I discovered that rhythms and moving my body to rhythms allowed not only my physical body to “feel good” but it also rearranges molecules in my thinking and how I react to difficult situations.

Zumba became my solution to dealing with my stress. Maybe it could for you too!

EXCITING Stuff Happening at the LOL Movement

So much exciting stuff is going on coming into October

1. FAMILY ZUMBA registration is OPEN! Want to dance with your children and get a GREAT work out?  Starting October 22-December 10, every wednesday from 5:30pm-6:15pm at the Children’s Palace (2389B St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto).  Must RSVP to get a spot in this class!

2. HALLOWEEN SPECIAL: From October 27-October 31, it is “Buy Your Goul-friend a Pass Week”.  Have a friend you want to zumba with and they have yet to come out?  Pick them up a 10 class pass for $75, good for 3 months and the expiry does not start until they attend their first class!!!  **I am thinking Christmas Present!! Yes, I said christmas in a halloween special! LOL!

3. Are you a part of TFC Women’s Soccer League?  Come try out a class for FREE and then if you choose to buy a 10 or 20 class pass, I will give you 10% off!  This is in support of the Live OUT LOUD Lions soccer team and we are extending this to the WHOLE league!!

4. HARVEST PARTY SUNDAY!!! October 5 from 2:30pm-4:30pm I will be co-teaching an AMAZING event with 6 other instructor friends who will ROCK YOUR WORLD on the dance floor!  Come join the FUN! Last Week of Summer Specials!

With the end of the summer months upon us, it is time to get back to our routines….school, work and of course fitness!

Let’s have your fitness regime be FUN!! Yes, I said FUN!! Like an hour goes by and you are having so much FUN that you forgot about having to “work out” because it was just more of a “FUN OUT!”

This week to celebrate the last week of August, you can do a drop in class for $5.00.  I am extending this offer to ALL classes this week starting tonight!  Come join our zumba class, check it out, have fun, laugh lots, sweat a little 😉 , get the party started to kick it into September!
