Anyone CAN Do It!

Recently I was in a conversation with someone who shared with me that they could not dance.  This statement always makes me wonder at what point in their life did they “make up” that they couldn’t?

Did someone tell them they couldn’t?

Did they try and felt foolish?

Do people ACTUALLY have 2 left feet? I have never seen that but for sure would love to sometime!

I often think that the judgements of not being able to do something is just simply put, a thought we have that we give power to.

I believe this when it comes to many things.

For me, dance is just a natural state. I often do not even realize when I walk across the floor that I will begin to “glide” (as my husband says)..I cannot help but move in a fluid motion, it has become natural.

I have recently taken on learning about finance and real estate. Why I bring this up is because when I started to learn, I had the thought “I cannot do this…this is hard”…and then I brought myself back to when someone tells me they cannot dance and my belief that everyone can…(even if it is to their own drum..they are STILL dancing).

Taking on that anyone CAN learn and do new things has opened me up to see that I am actually very capable of learning in the world of finance and real estate!

I do prefer to dance. I am more comfortable dancing, however, I am learning to not be limited!

Dancing teaching us flow. Flow through life, problems, happiness, sadness, breakthroughs and breakdowns.

Sticking To A Fitness You Love = RESULTS!

Sticking to a fitness plan can seem hard. Usually it is only hard or difficult if you are trying to do something for fitness that you do not enjoy.

Zumba fitness is not for everyone, however that being said, over 10 million people worldwide do zumba each week….so we must be doing something right! 🙂

Zumba classes through the LOL Movement WILL produce results if you stick to it.  I can give you all I got as a zumba instructor but if you don’t put in the time and come out, you will not see the results.

If you come to class 2-3 times a week you will begin to notice the difference in how you feel and how your clothes fit.  I am not interested in how much you weigh because weight can be fat OR muscle and muscle tends to weigh more.  If you are someone who needs to be able to measure the result, please get a tape measure and measure inches around breasts, waist, hips and thighs.  Take these measurements at 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks. (I can support you with logging this too if you like)

The more classes you attend, the more you sweat, the more you feel good all over, the quicker the results.

Zumba is a super fun way to workout and let the music move you! Many clients share that after a stressful day, being able to dance, laugh and get lost in the music is exactly what they needed.  The results that Zumba classes produce are not only on a physical level but the mental and emotional level are so freeing that it is a total body workout experience and clients leave relaxed and euphoric!

In my classes, I change it up from class to class so you never get bored hearing the same songs or doing the same moves everyday. We use chairs, weights and of course we DANCE and SHAKE!

Gotta keep it lively and fun in my opinion!

Coming into 2015, many begin to think about what they are going to do for fitness in the New Year….my advice….find what you love to do and do A LOT of it! It really is that simple. What ever it is you choose, keep going. Have it be more than a New Year’s resolution or a good idea….YOU ARE WORTH IT!
